Sunflowers and First Day of School

Look at them now! They are so beautiful! I can't believe how fast and easy they grew.


















Will's first day of school was Monday. He loves Kindergarten! He gets so excited. His teacher is great. He goes in the afternoon and it is working out great. It gives him something to look forward to every day.

Will's new hobby

Will has started a new hobby this month of taking pictures. He's taken hundreds of pictures! Here are just a few.

Swan Family Reunion

We had a fun family reunion with all of Glenn's extended family at Wolfcreek.



































We were even able to see the Hot Air Balloons! Will thought the Energizer Bunny was holding a big roll of tape!

4th of July Cherry Days Parade and more

Why do kids like to do this???


















One Sunday afternoon we went to visit the Ogden Temple grounds. First thing when we got there I knew we were going to have a hard time keeping Will out of the water. I was right. Glenn almost had to go in after him!


















Some summer fun-
One day we went to Discovery Gateway. Will loved the climbing wall. He was really good at it.
Also, we had a neighborhood bike parade.


















Pioneer Day Parade in Bountiful. It was sooo HOT! We had to leave early.


















And last, but not least- Will's birthday! We've decided to only have a friends birthday party every other year. So this year we just invited some family and had cupcakes in the front yard. It was a lot of fun.

Popsicles

A great day for a popsicle

These were taken a few weeks ago when it was really warm.

Also, Will is now riding his bike without his training wheels. One day we decided to take them off and he just took off. We didn't even need to help him. It's so funny because it's only been less than a year since he's been riding a bike. Just a year ago he was scooting around on his tricycle (he never pedaled it).

San Diego

In May we took a fun trip to San Diego. We were able to see my sister and spend some good time together having fun.

On the way down we decided to split it up between two days. We left in the afternoon thinking our kids would sleep most of the way to St. George. Lincoln slept for 1 hour and Will didn't even think about closing his eyes. I thought when we got to the hotel and put their PJs on they would go right to sleep. Well, after three hours of laughing and crying they both finally fell asleep. The next day I decided to sit in back with the kids so I didn't have to be turned around the whole time. Again, Lincoln slept for about 1 hour and Will didn't sleep at all. After a long trip we were ready for a good meal at Chevys.

We had a fun day at the beach in Laguna Niguel with my sister and her kids. There were dolphins jumping in the water!

We went to Sea World twice. We loved the star fish and the beluga whale the most.

We also visited the San Diego Zoo. Our favorite part was the children's zoo. They had an exhibit with insects that was amazing.

We stayed in Escondido at the Lawrence Welk Resort. It was the nicest place I have ever stayed. They had a fun pool with a great place for kids to play. They even had a waterslide.

It was such a great trip and a nice opportunity to relax.
